Exhibition stall design for India, from the brief

In India the search term is stall, not stand. The job is the same: a 3D concept at the booked size, a render for the brand team, and a drawing the fabricator can quote.

In short

Exhibition stall design in India is the concept for a booked stall: size, open sides, a brand wall, a reception and a meeting table, drawn so a fabricator can price it. ExhibitionBase Studio turns a brief and the brand's website into that 3D stall, then renders it and exports AutoCAD DXF. Exhibitors use it before they call fabricators. Agencies use it to show a concept in the pitch. Confirm the venue's height and electrical rules in the exhibitor manual.

India

What you get.

01

The word stall, the same tool

Searchers say stall. The model is still a sized 3D space with walls, a counter and furniture you can edit.

02

Before the fabricator quote

Send a plan and elevations, not a mood board. Fabricators in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru can price the same DXF.

03

Shell scheme or custom

A 3×3 shell is graphics and furniture. A custom island is structure. Say which one in the brief so the concept matches the budget.

04

Brand from the website

Paste the company site. Studio reads the public colours and offer. Check them before you generate; Indian groups often have more than one brand.

05

Agencies with many clients

Each stall is its own project. A review link lets the client comment without a seat in the file.

06

Credits, not a retainer

Starter credits are free. Packs are charged in US dollars and your card issuer converts them to rupees. There is no rupee price list, because the rupee is not pegged.

How it works

Three steps, no CAD skills needed.

  1. 01

Book the stall, then draw it

Enter metres, open sides and the manual's height. Add the brand website and what the stall must do: demo, meeting or sampling.

  2. 02

    Edit in the browser

Move the counter, add a store, ask for a change in a sentence. Manual edits are free.

  3. 03

    Quote from the drawing

Export DXF and PDF. Ask two fabricators to price that file, then pick on finish and timing.

India

Venues, shows and the quote.

Confirm the city, the hall and the height limit in the exhibitor manual for the edition you are entering.

Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi, Delhi

Large Delhi shows publish height and electrical rules per hall. Enter that height before you design; do not reuse a Dubai height limit.

BEC, Mumbai and BIEC, Bengaluru

The same stall file can be resized. The fabricator and the venue contractor still own structure, power and approval.

Stall, not stand

Indian briefs say stall. Studio's sizes are in metres, which match how Indian venues book space. A 3×3 stall is the usual shell; islands are custom.

FAQ

Good to know.

Is a stall different from a stand?

In Indian English, stall is the usual word for the same booked space. Studio designs that space in metres and exports drawings a fabricator can read.

Will an Indian fabricator build from the DXF?

The DXF is a concept drawing in millimetres: plan, elevations and a schedule. The fabricator still details joints, electrics and the venue's approval pack.

Do you design for Auto Expo or IMTEX?

You can design any stall whose size you know. Show guides for those fairs are not on the site yet; use the size and the manual, and the industry guides for automotive or machinery.

Can a stand builder build from these designs?

Studio produces dimension-controlled concept designs with plans, elevations and a schedule that are accurate to the 3D model, which is ideal for pitching, quoting and planning. Structure, rigging, electrics, fire safety and venue approvals still need your stand builder and the organiser.

How much does Studio cost?

Studio runs on credits. Every workspace gets 5 starter credits once. Buy more when you need them: no subscription, no monthly charges and purchased credits never expire. An AI stand design costs 5 credits, a render 5 (8 in 2K) and image to CAD 4. Editing, drawings and exports are free. Top-up packs start at 40 credits for $15.

Your next stand

Design the stand before the client asks twice.

Start with 5 free credits: enough for a complete AI stand design. Editing, drawings and exports are always free.
